EXPERIENCE
Mikhail is the Co-Head of our M&A practice in S.t Petersburg and mainly consults on M&A and real estate transactions. He also advises clients on various corporate, labour, and taxation issues. Before joining Hannes Snellman in 2007, he was Head of the Legal Department of the Rubin Group.
Mikhail has considerable experience in Russian contract and corporate law, as well as in legal practice, including over 70 cases at the Arbitrazh Court of Saint Petersburg and other regions in the Russian Federation, the Arbitrazh Court of the North-Western Federal District, at courts of general jurisdiction, and at commercial arbitration courts. Mikhail has also acted as legal counsel for real estate development transactions.
Several major real estate and general M&A projects in Saint Petersburg have been accomplished under Mikhail’s supervision. Mikhail has overseen the entirety of real estate projects, from obtaining primary construction licences and permits to registering the property titles and further commercial use of the constructed buildings. He has recently been in charge of several comprehensive industrial M&A projects.
