Mikkel Baaring Lerche and Nikolaj Bjørnholm are both very experienced and highly ranked Danish lawyers, having advised on several of the largest M&A transactions in Denmark. Mikkel Baaring Lerche has more than 20 years of experience as an M&A and corporate lawyer focusing in particular on private equity and other cross-border transactions. Nikolaj Bjørnholm is a renowned Danish and international corporate tax lawyer with a particular focus on transaction-related tax advice. He also has substantial litigation experience, including before the Danish Supreme Court. They will join Hannes Snellman as soon as possible.

Hannes Snellman’s plan in Copenhagen is to grow significantly within M&A/corporate, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance and to cover areas such as Tax, Competition, IPR&IT and Employment. The firm will also offer Dispute Resolution in these areas. “We aim to grow to some 50 lawyers, including 10-12 partners, within three years,” Philip Risbjørn continues.

The launch of the Copenhagen office is a cornerstone in the implementation of Hannes Snellman’s Pan-Nordic strategy offering clients high-end and efficient service across the region.
